The Manipal University Jaipur is commonly known for its industry-based curriculum, abilities-based pedagogy, and outcome-based academic framework. The university focuses on career readiness in the long term by balancing the classroom education, practical projects, and internships with exposure to research and interaction with the industry without putting an excessive strain on the students.
The campus is a fully residential, purpose-built campus with a high concentration on the academic environment but is also well connected to the city of Jaipur. It will, over the years, have established a reputation as a professionally oriented institution that places emphasis on applied learning and employability rather than simply a purely theoretical teaching institution.

MET considers subject knowledge, aptitude, and academic preparedness as alternative routes for students who might not have featured in national-level examinations.
B.Tech, MBA, law, M.Tech, architecture, and PhD programs are all entrance-based. Most of the courses, such as BBA, BCA, and B.Com, are based on merit.
MUJ also accepts MET, JEE Main, CUET, CAT, MAT, CMAT, CLAT, NATA, and university-level tests to take PhD admission.
The academic session is planned to start in July 2026 after counselling in June.
