The Baba Farid Group of Institutions admits both state-level and national-level entrance examinations. Admissions are also done on merit in some of the programs.

BFGI does not require any special exams like JEE Main, CAT, MAT, CMAT, CUET, etc.
The scholastic year is supposed to commence in July, 2026, following the counseling in June.
